Tonight's scrummy dinner needed to be super easy to make after a busy day! As part of my plate, I created some turmeric sweet potato wedges, These are a staple in my house.
Time to prepare: 5 minutes
Time in the oven: 40 - 50 minutes
2 large sweet potatoes
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp sage
3 tsp coconut oil
Pinch of Himalian Pink salt
How to create...
First, preheat the oven 180' gas mark 5.
Next, cut up the sweet potatoes into chunky wedges.
After that, add to a baking tray/oven dish and smother with coconut oil by placing in the oven for 5 minutes to melt the oil.
Then, remove the wedges from the oven and sprinkle with turmeric, sage and salt, making sure they have an even coating by mixing them around.
Cook in the oven for 40 - 45 minutes. Turning them over every 10 minutes or so.
Be careful, turmeric can turn ANYTHING yellow so don't wear your favourite top in case of accidents!!
These are super simple and taste incredible.... I may have a slight obsession with sweet potatoes!
